      reviewers after its identity check.

interests, CRediT contributions, data availability, and ethics approval.
      Editorial office only.
  acta-juris-processualis-template-cover-letter.tex
Cover letter to the editors, including three to five research highlights.
      Editorial office only.
  README.txt
      This file.
  acta-juris-processualis-template-templates.zip
The complete package in one archive.

Compiling
---------
  latexmk -pdf <file>.tex
or
  pdflatex <file>.tex
  pdflatex <file>.tex

Run the compiler twice so that page references resolve. The files use only
standard LaTeX packages and need no external class or bibliography file.

For a manuscript containing Chinese, compile with XeLaTeX:
  latexmk -xelatex <file>.tex
or
  xelatex <file>.tex
  xelatex <file>.tex

Double-anonymous submission
---------------------------
Reviewer package in the ACTA system:
the anonymous manuscript file that the submission system releases after its
automatic identity check. Never include the title page, the cover letter, or
  any file carrying author identities.
Do not upload any file that has not passed the system's identity check. If
the submission system asks for a reviewer PDF, you may upload the compiled
  anonymous manuscript.

The manuscript must not contain names, affiliations, e-mail addresses, ORCID
iDs, funding numbers, acknowledgments, or self-identifying wording, including
in footnotes and in the reference list. Acknowledgments and funding belong on
the title page only.

The title page and the cover letter are for the editorial office only. The
submission form records the same declarations in structured form; keep the two
consistent.

After acceptance
----------------
You do not prepare a separate camera-ready file. The submission system compiles
the named publication version automatically from the accepted anonymous
manuscript and the author and declaration data recorded at submission: it
restores the title block, author names and affiliations, the corresponding
author, acknowledgments, funding, competing interests, CRediT contributions,
data availability, and ethics approval.

If the publication version needs a correction, edit acta-juris-processualis-template.tex and submit a new
version through the system; the system regenerates the PDF and the published
TeX Source. Do not add the anonymous withholding line to a named version.

Before uploading
----------------
1. Clear PDF metadata. The manuscript sets pdfauthor empty; check the compiled
   PDF anyway:
     pdfinfo acta-juris-processualis-template.pdf
The Author field must be empty. Also clear Title, Subject, Keywords, and
any custom properties if your PDF tool writes them.
2. Remove identifying document properties, tracked changes, comments, and
embedded file names. Check figure and table properties (alt text, titles,
source paths) in every file you upload.
3. Use neutral file names. Do not put your name or institution in a file name.
Keep the supplied stems, or use:
     ajp-manuscript.tex
     ajp-title-page.tex
     ajp-cover-letter.tex
4. Compile the manuscript and read the PDF as a reviewer would. Search the PDF
text for your name, your institution, your e-mail address, your ORCID iD,
grant numbers, and the names of collaborators.

File naming
-----------
The supplied stem is:
  acta-juris-processualis-template
Keep the suffixes as supplied (-title-page, -cover-letter). If your submission
system requires one stem per manuscript, replace acta-juris-processualis-template with
ajp-manuscript and keep the suffixes.

Prohibitions
------------
  - Do not add author names or affiliations to the manuscript.
  - Do not put acknowledgments or funding information in the manuscript or in
    footnotes.
  - Do not upload any file that has not passed the system's identity check.
  - Do not add journal metrics, indexing claims, or policy statements that the
    journal has not published.
  - Do not change the page size, the two-column layout, or the font size of the
    manuscript.
